Coming back to where I grew up part one

Writing my weekly blog a day early. Just finished packing and finally decided what gear I am going to take and made sure my main suitcase was way under the 50lb limit bag limit. Doing only one carry on just in case I need the the second bag on the flight back.

I will be flying back to SoCal (Southern California) to see my mom. The only bummer she lives in Hemet. Not near any main freeways. Roughly two hours from where I grew up. We lived a perfect location 15 minutes from the beach, short driving distance from Long Beach, Los Angeles, San Diego, the desert, and to the mountains. Never really understood why she moved to Hemet.

This trip is going to be Son and Mom week with the exception of one day to visit friends I grew up with. Each day are going to try to visit different place we used to enjoy going to when I was growing up. From museums to near by towns or cities. So as visit each place I hope to capture memories at the same time. I have not taken that much pictures of us together each time I have been back.

It took me while what camera and lenses to bring with me. Usually, my A6000 with couple fast prime lenses come with me on trips. After couple going back and forth. I decided to take the Sony A7II with three prime lenses and canon to Sony E-mount adapter (Just in case I wanted to rent some Canon glass). Just wanted the full frame for this trip fpr low light shoots

Time to finish this part of the blog so I finish listing places for me and mom to visit. You have a good night all and be back next week with the conclusion of this blog. Thanks for reading.
